The Story

I've been a working musician for 30 years. 2,500+ gigs. Classical guitar, jazz, Latin, pop. Weddings, corporate events, festivals, private parties. Every type of venue you can think of, and a few you probably can't.

For most of that time, the business side ate the creative side. Leads would come in during rehearsal and I'd respond two hours late. Pricing was in my head. Venue intel was scattered across notebooks and text threads. I was good at reading rooms and building relationships, but I couldn't be in five places at once.

So I started building. Not theory. Real systems. Five apps that handle my leads, prep my gigs, track venue intel, and talk to each other. I'm not an engineer. I'm a working musician who got tired of the gap between what I know and what I could actually act on in a day.

The AI didn't make me faster. It made me more consistent. It let me show up as the version of myself that wins the gig, every time, not just when I had the energy.

And I kept thinking: this isn't just a music thing. This is anyone who's good at what they do but can't be in five places at once. So now I'm teaching what worked.

What I Believe About AI

AI literacy isn't just about learning the tools. It's about knowing what's worth protecting from them.

I call this AI Dual Literacy: the ability to use AI tools effectively AND the judgment to know when human expertise matters more. The tools change every few months. The judgment compounds over a career.
